My Top 3 Investment Watches

For many years I went through a phase of buying cheap watches and alternating between them every other day whenever I got bored of them. I found it very hard to stay loyal to any particular watch, and I was swayed very easily by the latest novelty watches available in the shops. As I was using my phone more and more, I didn't see any value in spending a lot of money on a watch, but at the same time I didn't want to part ways with wearing watches as my wrist feels very naked without one! A watch is an investment. It is an everyday accessory and a good watch can hold its value for years. The watch you choose to wear - whether you like it or not - is a statement about you. Below are my top 3 investment watches that are available in shops now and are also extremely stylish. An investment watch doesn't have to be boring anymore! I must warn you though, if you are going to spend a lot of money on a watch, you must absolutely love it first of all, and secondly you must make sure that it is something that you could wear daily.

1. Michael Kors - Rosegold Chronograph Watch

A popular favourite amongst the fashion world, this 'boyfriend watch' will definitely have people gawking at your wrist for all the right reasons! This watch is extremely durable, perfect for day or night time, and the rosegold colour is perfect with any outfit. This watch has a push button clasp which makes it very easy to put on in the morning while running for your train/bus!

2. Marc by Marc Jacobs - Henry Skeleton Watch

My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I came across this beauty! The cobalt blue leather strap compliments the rosegold plated bezel perfectly. It may be harder to team this watch with every single outfit but if you get it right, I have no doubt that you will have heads turning! This watch has a pin and buckle strap so be prepared for a few frustrating mornings trying to put it on!

3. Karl Lagerfeld - Zip Stud Watch

I may have included this one partly because of the quirky design and partly (mostly) because it has Karl Lagerfeld's name to it, but nonetheless I can't deny this watch a place in my top 3! Half bracelet / half watch, these separate white leather straps zip together forming one hell of a statement. The stainless steel studs are perfect for the upcoming Autumn/Winter season as punk is tipped as the hot trend for the next couple of months, and I have no doubt that we won't be saying adios to studs anytime soon. This watch is also available in black.
